HA NOI BY NIGHT PROGRAM
16:30 Our tour guide will pick you up in the Old Quarter of Hanoi.
17:05 Enjoy a water puppet show, a popular traditional art form rooted in rural Vietnamese culture. Originating in the Red River Delta and dating back to the 11th century, the performance depicts folk tales, legends, and everyday scenes. These puppets are controlled by skilful puppeteers standing behind a
screen, using long bamboo sticks and strings underwater to bring the characters to life on a water stage.
18:00 Take a short walk to a nearby restaurant to enjoy local dishes for dinner.
18:50 Walk to the bus station to board a Hop On – Hop Off bus. This offers a unique way to explore the city's landmarks at night, with famous attractions like St. Joseph’s Cathedral, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, and the Hanoi Opera House beautifully lit up. You can listen to an audio guide with details on each
destination available in English, French, Chinese, Korean, etc.
20:00 Visit Long Biên Market, Hanoi’s largest inner-city wholesale market, known for fresh produce. The market is particularly busy during early hours (midnight – 4am), when local vendors from all over the city come to stock up their goods to sell for the day. Immerse in the vibrant atmosphere as goods are
transported, bargained for, and sold in bulk.
Then continue to Quang An Flower Market, the most famous wholesale flower market in Hanoi. It is especially active around midnight, offering a colorful variety of flowers including roses, lilies, and orchids. This is where local street vendors and other flower stockists would get their bulk supply before
